Agreed. The locker room confrontation was a really bad sign for the Lakers. Moving Beasley felt necessary. As difficult as it is to say, Lance has been giving the Lakers a lot more of good Lance than bad Lance. He was even one of the peacemakers during that early season brawl with Houston. Does his redemption story become the poor man’s version of Metta World Peace?
With regard to Zubac, he killed Golden State (pre-Boogie), OKC (holding his own with Steven Adams was a huge surprise) and Houston. He doesn’t have the skill and fire yet to play against guys like Gobert and Embiid.
I don’t see him as a starting level center, but if the Clippers get AD, Zubac could do a good job in spot minutes against starters, and be dominant against opposing bench units.
