Alex Caruso plays at the Y when he’s not playing for team USA, or NBA minutes as a solid backup point guard.
Caruso’s 101.4 defensive rating was better than: Eric Gordon, JJ Redick, Victor Oladipo, Damian Lillard, Jrue Holiday, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson (wtf?), Kyle Lowry, and the entire Minnesota Timberwolves starting line up.
After Kevin Knox helped the Knicks overcome a 25-point deficit against the Lakers, Hart and Caruso came back in the game and took turns shutting him completely down, allowing the Lakers to rebuild a double digit lead and win the game.
Just because he’s a white guy who’s losing his hair doesn’t mean he can’t rise to the occasion every now and then.
