Election 2016: is it time to freak out?
Imagine you got a call from your doctor that said you have a cancerous tumor inside you that is growing at a rapid rate, but you have a 65% chance of survival if they operate on it next Tuesday.
What would you do?
Would you schedule the surgery and show up?
How would you feel?
Would you be happy and relieved to have a two out of three chance of surviving?
Or would you completely freak out because you have a 35% chance of dying?
Or, would you just sit back and say it’s not your problem, because what do doctors know?
So here’s the diagnosis:
I just looked at 538.com’s election forecast.

Maybe there is someone in your family, or someone you love who will be affected by this prognosis.
There is a 35% chance…

I wrote a couple of days ago not to worry about me and all those other rich old white guys, under a President Trump, but that doesn’t mean I’m not concerned for my children, your children, the brave people serving in the armed forces and all those who are less fortunate and more vulnerable in our society.
My first article on Medium got ZERO reads, but it is just as true now as it was a year ago:
A little more political and economic information, in case anyone is interested:
