Federer is better than Jordan:
- Jordan never beat Magic or Bird in their prime and only dominated the league after added six teams; Federer regained the #1 ranking twice and won Grand Slams over Djokovic and Nadal.
- Jordan quit basketball, and the Bulls won one less game the first year he left the team, so his teammates and coach played a large part of his success; Federer had to hit every shot in every point in his career.
- Jordan was no longer a dominant player during his years with the Wizards, while Federer was winning Grand Slams and closing in on the longevity records of Connors and Rosewall.
I used to play on the circuit, and then coached over 20 years, but there are so few people interested in tennis here, I do most of my tennis writing on Quora.
