I heard someone (maybe a Zach Lowe podcast) that Trae Young only shot 27% from 30 feet out, so the comparisons to Stephen Curry are not good. At that level, he’s not a threat to defenses.

The draft evaluators said he has average physical tools, so I don’t see how this guy is ever going to be a transcendent player (#6 on your prospect list). He doesn’t have the size and strength to finish at the rim like Kyrie Irving, and will never be a plus defender, so that kills his value as a two-way player.
