Jennifer, I think the entire “millennials are entitled, lazy, spoiled, etc.” narrative has been crafted by the media and conservatives in an attempt to keep your generation depressed, angry and apathetic to excercising their political power. Boomers who buy into that bullish*t are completely ignorant about how our economy has changed since the 1950's:
If anything, I am a subscriber to the theory that millennials are going to replace the Depression kids as the next “Greatest Generation.” There was a fascinating book on the cyclical quality of generations that corresponds to the booms and busts of the economic cycle. (I wish I could remember the name of it.)
