If I had listened to Bruce Springsteen last night I would have written the article differently, or maybe not at all — his lyrics are so obviously political. I found it surprising that so many of Pat Benatar’s love songs could be interpreted as having a political message.

This election is about a grandma that needs to save this country, so it made sense to make the parallel between her and pat Benatar.

FWIW, I’m old enough to be a grandpa, too. My wife runs circles around women who are twenty years younger, so it never enters into my mind about her being uncool, even though our oldest son is now over thirty.
