In the NBA, they can retroactively change a 3-pointer to a regular basket when they have time to review the shooter’s feet during later on in the game. In one game (Lakers-Jazz, Oct 18, 2016), they took away a three point shot made because they determined the shooter’s back foot had touched the sideline.
There were a number of other horrific calls in other games, but the four point turnaround, momentum killing call in the Gonzaga game stands out.
