But since you seem so interested in sword play, you might want to read The Grammar Games, starting with Genesis and Part 1, and add your story somewhere in this collaborative mashup of fantasy, writers, and that story about the girl who shot a bunch of arrows and got nicknamed after some bird (can’t remember the name of it, you probably never heard about it).
