No, the bottom line is, I hate hyper-partisan bullish*t and hypocrisy. If the Dems could play by the rules when Reagan was president, then the Republicans should play be the rules when Obama is president.

If the point of government is to represent the will of the people and the people have spoken clearly (as I pointed out), then everyone in government should do their job, not just cherry pick the law or rewrite history to suit their short term political needs.

Regardless of whether the GOP likes Obama’s nomination or not, their job is to hold a hearing and then vote up or down. If they do their job and vote down, the nominee does not get appointed.

But at least they upheld their sworn duty to obey and defend the Constitution. Do you not get that?
