Not to dispute the common sense tips about being nice and listening to women, but have you read the scores of articles by f*cked up millenials who have no idea what relationships are?
Not that there is much difference with women over 40. They’re are still making the wrong choices even after 20+ years of relationships.
Just be true to yourself. To quote Sam Keen:
“There are two questions a man must ask himself: The first is ‘Where am I going?’ and the second is ‘Who will go with me?’ If you ever get these questions in the wrong order you are in trouble.”
BTW, here are a few quick translations of womens’ (and mens’) profiles:
“I love my life” — damaged and in denial
“I love to laugh” — because it’s only happened once in the last ten years
“Great sense of humor” — yes, just like Lieutenant Hauk
“Looking for chemistry” — just run the other way, you’re dealing with a 16 year old. They still haven’t figured out that the very things that attract them have led to an endless succession of failed relationships. The only way to really develop a relationship is to get past all the illusions caused by projecting your ideals on someone who is completely different than you think. It’s almost better to make a bad first impression. If a relationship develops after that, there’s a chance it will be more than a temporary infatuation.
