In August 2015 alone, more than one in three American teachers marched back into the classroom with something they had purchased from TpT, making it likely that as you read this, your children may be coloring a worksheet or taking a quiz their teacher purchased on the site with their own money.
Sadly, this shows how f*cked up our priorities are toward public education. Teachers are underpaid, jerked around by administrators, and forced to use constantly changing learning systems to increase the profits of textbook companies. Budget cuts are killing the educational experience with less art, music and sports programs, and bigger class sizes. And the teachers are still buying supplies with their own money.
