Since the show is about the digital world, could we not say “the virtual writing got better every week”?
I was attracted to the show because it traced the history of the computer and digital revolution. I did computer programming for fun when I was at UCLA. Back then, we used punch cards and the big thrill happened in one of my last programming classes (circa 1975) when we could see our code on screen!
(I stopped programming my sophmore year because I made the tennis team and couldn’t afford the all-nighters I was pulling with computers. Who knows where I would have ended up if computers had been my career choice instead of professional tennis.)
