It’s interesting, because there are book fans, hardcore show fans and casual fans, and these three groups have completely different views of what constitutes good storytelling.
There’s a reason Game of Thrones became one of the greatest TV shows of all time, but it didn’t have to do with ridiculous and arbitrary events that ignore everything set up during the first five seasons with the goal of “subverting” fan expectations.
My frustrations with the show have grown so intense, unleashing some Sammy J seemed like the best way to get everything off my chest.
I hope it provided a couple of chuckles.
