Thanks for the kind words.
Remember the part about getting feedback?
Your comment about you finding yourself on the writer side in some of the categories and on the blogger side on others got my interest.
What categories do you think you need to work on?
One of the most fascinating aspects of doing anything artistic is seeing how people interpret your work, even if it wasn’t what you had in mind.
Sometimes, the artist is unconscious of their own motivations, as they use art as a form of therapy to work out their own darkness.
Sting talked about that in writing the song “Every Breath You Take,” and I wrote about that subject after doing a song parody.
Every Step You Take (OMG, Honey, Take the Photo Now!)
A new song by The Parents (what would have happened if the Police had stayed together and had families).
I do understand your feelings about highlighting, but think again about seeing your favorite stand up comedian, or watching a great comedy special on Netflix.
If every joke was funny, wouldn’t you laugh each time?
I don’t think you would make a judgement on how much total laughter would be appropriate, and yet we do that as writers.
