I thought long and hard about the episode, and realized that it was really good because the showrunners returned to the literary form of the first six seasons. I focused more on the details of each major character’s journey throughout the show (choosing to erase the 12 episodes preceeding the series finale from my mind), to see if their final acts made sense.
