Not only is it uncertain that the $8 billion in policy subsidies will actually cover all the affected people, it doesn’t guarantee that policy premiums won’t outrun the subsidies, or if the subsidy program will even be renewed after five years. Death also takes a dim few on the sunset provisions that may likely be triggered if they push the bill through a trcik called budget reconciliation.
